Terry is a proud little tractor. He works hard and tries to be the best at everything he does. He takes on a new job. In the past the job had been done by an elephant. Terry is boastful that he can do the job better then the elephant.

Terry and the elephant have a contest to see which can do the job better. Terry is the best at the first task. Then, the elephant proves to be better at the second task. They learn that each has certain skills, but may not be good at other things.

A friendly monkey helps the two contestants become friends. He also teaches them the importance of encouraging one another to do a good job.
